Step 3: Applying Hair Color
The application of direct pigments (type of coloring used in the mixture you have just made) can be done on slightly damp hair (well-dried with a towel).
The ideal way to not forget any section is to apply the coloring with a brush, first on 2 main separations: one from the front towards the rear, the second from ear to ear (blue lines in the illustration). You get 4 subsections.
Then continue the application by making rows in each subsection (lilac lines in the illustration). You can use a wide-toothed comb to even out the application.
For a uniform look, apply coloring from root to tip. If you want Shanie's two-tone look, skip the ends and move on to the next step...
