Oligo's Blacklight Extra Blonde bleaching powder is a high-performance, dust-free bleach formulated with advanced ionic technology to deliver up to 9 levels of lightening with precise and predictable results. Its positively charged compounds create protective bonds during the bleaching process to smooth and protect the cuticle, reduce porosity, and promote a uniform, luminous result, all while leaving hair soft, shiny, and static-free. Compatible with Blacklight developers from 5 to 40 volumes, it is suitable for on- and off-scalp applications.
Off the scalp: mixing ratio is 1:1. Depending on degree of lightening desired, choose one of the following Blacklight developers: 10 vol. (3%), 20 vol. (6%) or 30 vol. (9%). Processing time varies depending on the degree of lightening desired and the condition of the hair. On the scalp: mixing ratio is 1:2. Use a 20 vol. (6%) developer or less. Do not process longer than 60 minutes. Apply on dry hair. Check every 10 minutes to avoid over-processing. Upon completion, rinse hair with lukewarm water until water runs clear. Lightly shampoo hair using Blacklight Hydrating Shampoo and then apply Blacklight Hydrating Conditioner. For additional conditioning, replace Blacklight Hydrating Conditioner by a Blacklight Mask. If additional toning is necessary or desired after completing the lightening process, apply toner to shampooed hair and follow remaining directions. Caution: for use by licensed hairstylists or cosmotologists only.
